Books from BKWine and two wine university professors

If you are an Amazon customer you know that they regularly come with suggestions of new purchases . Sometimes they are surprising and sometimes they are spot on. We often buy wine books of course. We have quite a few, probably a bigger wine library than most. So we do occasionally get wine book recommendations from Amazon.

But I was particularly pleased this morning when I received the promotion email from Amazon with a selection of wine books. To my surprise I found our very own book Biodynamic, Organic and Natural Winemaking; Sustainable Viticulture and Viniculture, listed together with Terroir and Other Myths of Winegrowing by Mark A Matthews, a professor of viticulture at UC Davis, published by University of California Press, and Understanding Vineyard Soils by Robert E White, who is Professor of Soil Science, University of Melbourne, published by Oxford University Press.

We are humbled by the very prestigious company we are in in the Amazon email. :-)

Biodynamic, Organic and Natural Winemaking; Sustainable Viticulture and Viniculture is our first to be published in English. It is about organic wine production and organic wines, biodynamic farming, “sustainable” winemaking, fair trade, natural wines and other related phenomena in wine growing, wine making and wine consumption. It also talks about environmental issues in general in the vineyard and in the wine cellar.

All in all we have so far written nine wine books to date (three in the pipe). And would love to have more of them published in English. Might you have any advice how to?

You can buy our organic wine book on Amazon here.
