“You make it and they will buy it” is a patently mistaken marketing principle. You have to tell the world about what you do too. Even if you think it what you have done is good, or at least OK, you still have to make people aware of it. That’s why we occasionally send out press releases about what we do.
Not so long ago we sent out a press release about our new book “Biodynamic, Organic, and Natural Winemaking, sustainable viticulture and viniculture” and I am glad to see that a few people have picked up on it. It is not always easy to know. Actually, it is most often very difficult to know, if someone does something about one of your press releases. (So, by the way, if you ever pick something up from a press release, make sure you let the people who sent it out know. They will be very happy to know!)
Here are two people who have picked up on our book press release:
John Bindels, a Dutch wine writer who writes on WijnWijs.eu and in other Dutch publications: Wat er achter ‘Organic’ zit.
And also Maralyn D Hill, an American wine, food and travel writer who writes theEpicureanExplorer.com as well as in other publications: A New Book on Organic, Biodynamic and Natural Wines Gives the Reader the Facts.
Thank you to both of you! Much appreciated!
There is a lot of work behind the book so we are very grateful for all mentions.
