Don’t worry; the stock is not empty at the winery. Domaine Goisot is a small Burgundy producer that makes wines from several different appellations in Burgundy. He makes wines from chardonnay, aligoté and even from sauvignon blanc (!). Our reporter Magnus Reuterdahl in Stockholm recently had the occasion to taste a range of Domaine Goisot’s wines and came back happy. Except for one thing: The wines sold out from the importer in only a few days!
The wines that Magnus tasted were:
- Domaine Goisot Bourgogne Aligoté 2010,
- Saint-Bris Moury Sauvignon Blanc 2010,
- Côtes d’Auxerre Biaumont Chardonnay 2009.
All three wines had plenty of personality says Magnus, each expressing the origin and the terroir as well as the grape varieties.
You can read more about the tasting of domaine Goisot here and the tasting notes on Magnus’ own blog here and here. (Use Google Translate for an English version.)
