It is not the wine itself. It is the game. Vignobles de France is an online game where you should place French wine appellations as close as possible to the correct location (in a limited time). The closer you get the more points you score. Some are easy but some are really hard. Pessac-Légonan is perhaps not so tricky but what about L’Etoile?
If you are not happy with your first score you just play once again. Given the number of appellations there are in France the risk that you will get the same twice is minimal. In addition you will lear a few things. After you place your guess they give you the correct location. So, are you up to the challenge? We have done it four times (twice each) with varying results: 39 000 once and 43 000 and then 61 695 and 61 711… (But it’s perhaps best to stop there, so as not to spoil it…)
Play the game here: Vignoble de France
