New AVA in Washington: Rattlesnake Hills

Rattlesnake Hills is the ninth AVA (American Viticultural Area) in Washington. It covers 1500 acres (~700 ha) planted with vines, reaching an altitude of 1000 meters. The main grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Malbec.
