I opened a Chateau Latrezotte recolte 1976 ( YES 1976 – shouldn’t be many around ; well, one of the few special left in my collection ) ; that was yesterday evening to celebrate the anniversary of meeting the one who will become my wife ; it was worth the occasion, splendid in every aspect, worth kneeling and i mean it ; so thank you for this vintage ; I still have few Sauternes 1978 which I keep for other special celebratory occasions
On another note : le Sauternes de ma Fille … no thank you : and I mean it too
Good news in more ways than one! Some older-than-they-should-be can be surprisingly good!
